# Lyssna Test Plan — Dealer Sales Workspace — spec lookup flow

**Test type:** Prototype test
**Best used for:** Task flows, interactions, and end-to-end usability.
**Sample size:** 30 participants
**Device:** desktop

## 1. Hypothesis
We believe consolidating spec lookup and lead capture into a single workspace will let reps answer buyer questions without leaving eye contact. We'll know we're right when ≥80% of reps complete a full spec-to-lead flow without switching apps.

## 2. Decision this test drives
Ship the consolidated workspace as the default rep home screen, or keep the current multi-app workflow.

## 3. Participant criteria
**Audience:** Marine sales reps at independent-brand and third-party dealers, 1+ years on the floor, use CRM daily.

**Screener questions:**
1. Do you currently work as a boat sales rep at a dealership? → Qualify: Yes
2. How often do you use a CRM at work? → Qualify: Daily
3. How many years have you sold boats? → Qualify: 1+

## 4. Tasks / stimuli
**Task 1.** Imagine you're [persona/scenario]. Using this prototype, complete [task]. Think aloud as you go.

## 5. Follow-up questions
1. What, if anything, would stop you from using this on the showroom floor tomorrow?
2. Rate ease of this task from 1 (very hard) to 7 (very easy).

## 6. Metrics we'll capture
- Task success rate
- Time on task
- Misclick rate
- SEQ (Single Ease Question)

## 7. Success criteria
- ≥80% task completion on core flow.
- Average SEQ ≥ 5.5 / 7.

## 8. Analysis & reporting
- Lead with the decision, then the evidence (e.g. "Ship option A — first-click success rose from 42% to 78%, n=30").
- Segment by self-reported experience level; novices and experts often diverge.
- Pair each quantitative chart with 2–3 verbatim open responses.
- Note sample size and scenario next to every headline number.

## 9. Pilot checklist (run before full launch)
- [ ] 3–5 pilot responses collected
- [ ] All prototype links / stimuli load on target device
- [ ] Task wording is scenario-based, not leading
- [ ] Screeners actually filter (check drop-off rate)
- [ ] Consent + incentive language reviewed

Paste sections directly into Lyssna's test builder. Always run a 3–5 person pilot before launching the full panel.
